FEMA to Open Second Round of COVID-19 Response Grants: Application Education Webinars Available

FEMA has announced that it will open a second round of COVID-19 response grants as part of its Supplemental Assistance to Firefighter Grant Program. Expected to open in the fall, these FY20 AFG-S grants will be available to volunteer and combination departments for the purchase of PPE and other supplies for COVID-19 response. FPEC Installs New Cascade Systems for Dinwiddie County Fire

FPEC recently installed new cascade systems to fill the SCBA units in four fire stations in Dinwiddie County. To prepare them for delivery of their new G1 SCBA units from MSA, FPEC upgraded Dinwiddie’ 4500 psi systems—which worked with their old 2216 psi SCBA—to new 6000 psi systems.
